Anni dinner that bf arranged at Forlino. We both had the Degustation menu.
Amuse Bouche (Dry) and
Swordfish Carpaccio with Blood Orange, Tomatoes and Capers Olive Oil
Scallops on the Shell with “Arneis” Wine (Both rocked my socks)
Risotto “Carnaroli” with Saffron & Bone Marrow (Almost gagged this out, the bone marrow was yum though)
Braised Wagyu Beef Cheek, Mash Potatoes and Tarragon (I don’t like my wagyu braised, but oh well, this was pretty good)
Three-Milk Robiola Cheese with Organic Honey Selection (Gave my share to bb. I’m not a cheesy person. Ahhaa so pun-intended. Tickle, tickle..)
Summer Berries with Honey Icecream and Crispy Pancake
Coffee & Petit Fours

Overall we had a good experience, but we weren’t really blown away by the food. Probably 'cause we couldn't choose the dishes.
Before dinner, we visited Bacchus. Booking tables there for NDP to watch the fireworks up-close. So make yourselves free girls.
huggies, my pen salesman
