ะ้ฟรสฟืก พนแาห

Went for a little shopping spree over the weekend. I was on a mad rampage and managed to get most of the items I needed to buy but refused to in sg. Just like my diet, starving.... and then BINCH eating. I will starve off shopping and then there won’t be any stopping when the craving comes.

Halloween 2009. 2 hours prep. Of which, 1 hr was spent watching youtube for hair and make up tips. Thank god we didn't have to queue. A group shot before going in Zouk.

Dinner at Rocks rocked. Hidden somewhere in The Sail. Service was an A+. The waiters were so thoughtful as to pass me a shawl when they saw me shivering. The food, likewise, was fantastic.
Their signature beef maki on sizzling hot stones. His very nicely done rib-eye steak, my very white Black Cod fish and the divine chocolate fondant as dessert.

Worth it

Had a recent conversation on MSN I found pretty funny.

S: Hey when are you free to give me your book. ( Gimme a break. He always finds excuses to go out with girls. He can't ask them out right 'cause he knows he will be rejected.)
Me: I dun think I will be free anytime soon.
S: Ok sure, lemme know when you will be free then.
Me: I dun think I will be free forever.
S: Ok I'm sorry.

Haa... but honestly, I'm not being mean. He has a whole history about him I don't even want to mention here. I just didn't wanna waste my time contacting such a person.

On better note, there are people worth being friends with. Like Hand, cannot thank him enough for always being there for me. Hand's new ride. Manage to take a photo first before he 'Zhengify' the whole thing. I was telling him, the bigger the spoiler, the lower the car kit, the shiner the rims and the blacker the tinted glass. Whao best. And a dangling glow-in-the-dark dice to top it all off. Hahaha...

Traits of an Aquarius

There was this guy I decided once and for all that I shouldn't be seeing anymore. One major factor was his negative persona. I'm already very pessimistic by nature, and having this bad energy around me isn't gonna help me be any happier. Despite different variations of the word 'no'. I still received this from him. Ok lah... plus points for being sweet. But which part of N.O does he not understand? Probably N... for numbskull.Friday I had a shoot for MDS. When I reached home I had a killer headache... again... And it was a Friday night. I couldn't bare to waste my Friday nights. So I popped pills to get myself back into shape. Manage to be well enough to walk at 11 plus. First was to R's friend's place for some drinks & mooncakes and then picnic at Sentosa.

Dinner at PS Cafe on Saturday... and then wining at Dempsey... and then Butter Factory... and then to Zouk. I know what you're thinking. But I'm just embracing the time and energy now when I can afford to.

Recently took an interest in my Horoscope. And found it to be rather accurate.

Traits of an Aquarius:
Good communication skills

Tactless
Desires change

Being 'pinned down'

Senseless extravagance

And I was sold when I read this cause it so descibes me:

A Final Word About the Aquarius Personality
Aquarians are extremely social people, but they also like their personal space. They are often at their best in social settings and work well with groups. Their need for personal time and space is a bit of a paradox for social butterfly Aquarians, but they find their balance between the two.
However, finding that balance between the need to both be alone and be with people may be easier for Aquarians than it is for their partners, making it difficult to figure out if the water bearer is having a social or anti-social day. For this reason more than any other, it would be wise for the Aquarian to find someone that shares a compatible zodiac sign.

Hmm.. I wonder who.

In ♥ with Thailand!

With a rather spontaneous & impromptu decision to head for a backpacker's trip, Henry, Joel & I booked ourselves a ticket to Thailand. Sadly, Henry had to cancel due to work commitments.

So with our backpacks, J & I with no specified plans in mind headed down to Phuket. All we knew was, we had to get to Koh Tao.

We touched down at almost midnight, with no buses to Surat Thani all we could do was stay a night at good ol' boring Phuket. We got a bike and went around the island at 2am... Obviously there was nothing to see because it was way to dark.

The next morning....

We set our feet to Patong beach.

And there you have it, tourists filled Patong. Where even sitting on a beach chair costs you 100B.
By noon, we had to pack and take a slow 6 hours minibus to Surat Thani.

And no... We're not at Koh Tao yet, in fact, we had to take another 9 hours of the night boat.

With 4 hours to spare, we did all we could. Walked around Surat Thani, went to the arcade, fed the elephant.

At 2300, we got to our sad little sleeping space. But we were too tired to complain about the sleeping conditions.

And yay! We finally arrived!

Not wanting to waste any time, we got a bike and explored the island.

Sairee beach.

When we got here, we were a little hesistant on taking the long hike. It was way to dangerous to travel down the steep slopes by bike, and walking just seemed too far. But we decided to just give it a shot.

And boy, are we glad we did. This beach was almost secluded. It was so beautiful, we both just sat there in awed.

I went for a swim not knowing that I was pretty close to the Shark Bay. It was later the evening that people started telling me I should've swam out to see the baby sharks. Thank god, I didn't.

One of the other breathtaking scenary spots.

Later that night, we headed to Office Bar to down some buckets and play poker.
After that, we kinda stopped bringing our cameras & phones out. We literally blended in the lives there. We didn't have to rush for time, we ate slow & walked so slow.

Chris was leaving after 6 months on the island. So there was a wild crazy party for him. Let's just say, the rest was history.

One of the nights, Shayne & Romain brought us for buffet. 139B= $6 for a BUFFET? You gotta be kidding me...

And our favorite companion for this trip, Wave. He brought us everywhere we wanted to.

And at Koh Tao, sister island of the infamous Koh Phangnan - Full Moon Party, everyday was a party too!

And 1 of my favorite bar would be the Asia Bar where all the divers would congregate, share stories & drink, after a good day of dive.

Here's Max, the coolest dog ever. He would follow us to party and leaving the party only after everyone have left.

And my 2 favorite men of this trip.
You probably heard the story. "2 Tigers for me if you see a Whale Shark, 1 Tiger for you if you don't." And I was god damn, fking lucky for seeing the big fking whale shark.

Here's Will, the man who told me "if you don't do your homework, I'm not gonna pass you!" And he was the one who brought me to the Whale Shark.

And after coming back to the real world for more than 72 hours, I still can't get over the fact that the week long vacation was over.

I need to find my paradise.
"And me, I still believe in paradise. But at least now I know its not some place you can look for because its not where you go, its how you feel in a moment of your life in a part of something. If you find that moment, it last forever." - The Beach
